of Baraka! Ensemble will be offering a Master class
that will include something for everyone, from beginner to advanced.
Bring your zills and don't forget your veil, as she will be teaching
a veil routine to take back home with you!

Josie's
description of the seminar:
"Dancing with a veil will add grace, flow, and fullness to
your style. Let the veil become an expressive partner as we take
space, feel the ground, and sail. We will explore some simple,
elegant choreography.
Bring 3.5 yards of lightweight fabric. All levels welcome.
Josie's diverse theatre and dance training will inspire beginners
and challenge more experienced dancers with graceful arm/hand
gestures, sharp hip accents, and a flair for celebration.
Bring finger cymbals and veils and be ready to sweat!" |
The workshop
will be held on Saturday, May 13th at the
Unitarian Universalist Church in downtown Bangor at
120 Park Street. The morning session runs
from 9 AM to 12 PM,
the afternoon session from 1 PM to 3 PM.
The cost is $ 40.
